New Industry Links Set to Benefit Construction Students

Representatives from Kidderminster College recently met with G. P. Thomas Construction to explore new opportunities that could help construction students gain valuable industry experience.

During the visit, Simon Deakin from G. P. Thomas Construction met with college colleagues to discuss how closer collaboration could provide learners with greater access to real working environments and live construction projects.

While classroom learning equips students with the knowledge and technical skills needed for a successful career, hands-on experience in industry helps bring that learning to life. Exposure to live construction sites enables learners to develop confidence, understand the realities of the sector and apply their skills in professional settings.

The College looks forward to working with G. P. Thomas Construction to help students gain the experience, knowledge and confidence needed to thrive in the construction industry.
