Inspiring Future Engineers

Engineering and Motor Vehicle learners at West Lancashire College gained valuable industry insight thanks to a series of inspiring sessions delivered by Simon Michell from Valvoline Global EMEA.

Drawing on more than 50 years of experience, Simon shared his expertise on modern lubricants, oil technology, Formula 1 partnerships and the science behind vehicle performance. Learners also benefited from practical careers advice on employability, resilience and building successful careers in the engineering and automotive sectors.
