Honouring Our Communities 🖤💛❤️
Students, staff, local councillors and community partners came together at Kidderminster College to celebrate Black History Month.
The event featured inspiring guest speakers, student-led discussions, live music performances and opportunities to learn more about the importance of diversity, inclusion and community.
💬 Helen Basnett, Head of Learner Services, said:
“I was incredibly proud of all our students who took part in this event, from those who shared their experiences and performed, to those who listened with such interest and respect.”
Thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success and for celebrating the achievements, contributions and experiences of Black communities.
