NCG Shares Blueprint for Business Resilience At North East Chamber Thought Leadership Event
NCG’s approach to organisational resilience was the focus of a regional thought leadership event hosted by the North East Chamber of Commerce last week, reinforcing its role as the Chamber’s Knowledge and Learning Partner.
The event, Building Resilience into Your Business, brought together senior business leaders from across the North East to explore how organisations can strengthen resilience, improve readiness and flexibility, and adopt a more proactive approach to risk and change.
NCG’s Executive Principal, Tony Lewin, spoke alongside contributors from The Soma Academy and St Oswald’s Hospice. He outlined how NCG has moved beyond traditional concepts of risk management to embed adaptability into its systems, culture and decision‑making.
Drawing on NCG’s experience as the country’s only national further education college group, Tony highlighted the importance of clear organisational purpose, distributed leadership and flexible operating models in sustaining performance under pressure.
